Toi Aro arts centre continues the legacy of Toi Pōneke Arts Centre.

Toi Aro is a catalyst for the growth and development of Wellington artists, and a vibrant space that nurtures collaboration, creativity and cultural exchange among artists of all generations using the tuakana-teina model.

The Te Ara Toi Gallery exhibits contemporary work by emerging and established solo artists, groups and curators. Works are displayed on the ground floor and subsequent levels via the stairs or lift.

Exhibitions frequently include artist talks and workshops.
